OCTOBER 15,2013-North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) expressed its shock and deep anguish on the death of Punjabi youth Parmod Paul who was dead in a car accident in a Dallas City in Texas State of United State. Releasing this statement Satnam Singh Chahal executive director of the Association said that two-car collision occurred on Interstate Highway 635 in Irving, Texas. The two individuals involved were outside of their cars when a third vehicle crashed into the, killing one of the men. The victim was later identified as Pramod Paul.
The other driver was able to narrowly avoid being hit by the car. Chahal disclosed that as per the reports reached in NAPA office, the driver of the third car was a friend of Paul’s, Jerry Matthew Abraham. Friends and family speculated that Paul had called his friend Abraham for help. Sadly, Abraham ended up killing his friend. He was taken to the hospital with injuries to the head and neck, and was also charged by police with intoxication manslaughter.He was survived with wife and a daughter. Such accidents have become commonplace: one accident occurs, and another car crashes into the accident scene, either injuring or killing someone.
