KNOW THE EMPLOYEE BETTER: Indy Parks will continue to feature an Indy Parks’ employee to know about him/her better. This November meet Jeffery Smith, park manager at Brookside Park. Jeff was raised in South Bend and was quite the athlete at LaSalle High School. He played football and basketball and he also threw shot-put!
He attended Vincennes University and then decided to walk on as a football player at Indiana State University. Jeff graduated from ISU, with a Sports Management Degree, making the first in his family to finish college.
He has since added a Master’s degree in Education! Jeff enjoys spending time with his family that includes his wife and two young sons, and they attend Promise Place Ministries together regularly.
Huge Notre Dame, Pacers and Colts fan. Only eats his French fries with mayonnaise on the side and never received a spanking from parents (so we are to believe he is an angel or he was really fast?)
