Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who delivered invocations at four city councils of Utah (USA) from July five to seven, visited Sri Ganesha Hindu Temple of Utah (SGHTU) in South Jordan on July seven.
Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, was welcomed at the Temple by its President Chaitanya A. Achan, who presented him with temple souvenirs. Temple priest N. S. Satish Kumar performed a blessing ritual.Mission of SGHTU, whose history dates back to 1993, includes to “pursue Hindu ideals of tradition and culture”. Besides Ganesha, it includes shrines of Durga, Shiva, Shiva Linga, Balaji Venkateshwara, Navagrahas, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Hanuman, Krishna, Murugan, Dattatreya, Rama, Sita, Lakshman, Hanuman, Andal-Bhudevi, Nataraja, Sivakami-Uma, and Naga Devatha.
