13 Nov : British film director & screenwriter Guy Ritchie should not be "infuriated" with Hindu mysticism, Hindus say and add that they are willing to help him unravel the ancient and timeless wisdom of Hinduism.
Mirror.co.uk website said: "Madonna’s new Hinduism fad was last straw for Guy" and "The singer infuriated Guy when she suddenly became fascinated with Hindu mysticism…", while reporting about Ritchie’s doomed seven plus years marriage with American entertainer Madonna.
Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed says that Hinduism is oldest and third largest religion of the world with about one billion adherents and a rich philosophical thought. Among various mysticism practices, Hinduism has the oldest tradition.
Zed, who is the president of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a statement from Nevada (USA) today, stated that he or some other Hindu scholars would be willing to sit with Guy Ritchie and unfold the depths of Hindu mysticism and enlighten him about realization of the oneness of atman (self) and Brahman (supreme being), state of liberation known as moksha, etc.
Rajan Zed points out that if Madonna needed help in further exploring the depths of Hinduism or any aspects of it, they shall gladly share their knowledge. Hinduism is meant to unite and not divide. Ancient Hindu wisdom is open to all and we are willing to clear any misunderstandings about it.
BAFTA nominated Guy Stuart Ritchie is known for "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", a 1998 crime movie. Golden Globe winner Madonna, also known as ‘The Material Girl’, played Argentinean Eva Peron in movie "Evita".
