By Tarun juneja, Varun Mehta’s Directorial Debut ‘Indianinjas’ has surprised everyone. The film which didn’t get the best reviews and had enough flaws have managed to have a successful run and now going through an International Film Festival. The film has said to ‘made history’ in just six months prior its release. Varun and his Indianinjas team are so excited like noone. How can one imagine that a film shot on a mere school ground in four hours would be travelling the path through an International Film Festival.
But that is true. Varun Mehta’s Indianinjas has been invited as a call for submission in 16 : 9 International Film Festival. The principal as well as the producer of the film Vimla Mehta is also proud on such a huge acheivement.
We caught the Indianinjas team for a small chit-chat.
Tarun : Varun ? How are you feeling to acheive such a huge honor?
Varun : It feels great. Its something I imagined in my wildest dreams, for this movie atleast, I guess god is somewhere blessing me constantly and I want to thank him and my family to have that support.
Tarun : What are your next plans after this venture?
Varun : Well there are a few, We are planning to launch the official website for the film, till now we had only had webpages but now its time that the movie shall have a website on his own and a DVD release as well. My Next project is ‘The Wonder Stone’.
Now to the cast.
Tarun : Hello Ankit! Your performance has been praised for the character Victor. How are you feeling?
Ankit : I am feeling very very nice, we never imagined that it will become so successful and I thank people very much for liking me.
Tarun : Dimple? In the movie, We saw you tied to a tree. For how long you were tied during off the shot?
Dimple : Laughs, I was tied to that tree, because I get kidnapped by Victor after being defeated by him. I was tied for almost 3 hours.
Victor : Prashant, You played one of the heroes, How was it to play a superhero?
Prashant : I love superheroes, and I always wanted to be like one. Thankgod Varun sir gave me an opportunity to play a superhero onscreen. But I never knew that this film will become popular.
Let us wish the Indianinjas Team all the best for the Festival !
