Dr. Avnish Jolly,22 June:According to press release issued by Sri Lanka-United Nations Friendship Organisation (SUNFO), they are with the cooperation of Global cal to action Against Poverty (GCAP) and United Nations Millennium Campaign (UNMC) is organizing three days summit at Blue Water Hotel, Waduwa, Kalutara Sri Lanka from 22-24 July, 2008 followed by a Group Tour on July 25 and Youth Rally with SAARC Art Exhibition on July 26.
Youth issues, MDGS and Youth, Cultural events, preparation of “SAARC Youth Memorandum” are in the Agenda of the summit. (Agenda is attached). We invite youth age 16-24 not only from South Asia but also from other part of the world to participate for this summit. (Adults could apply to participate as Observer/Facilitators.)

Registration fee covers participation for the SUMMIT activities from July 22-26. Accommodation and three meals per day will be arranged with host families in Sri Lanka.
