Chandigarh, 5th January: Yesterday, we saw Salman Khan at Jamnabai Narsee School where he came to meet students of 19 schools across Mumbai.Salman was there to judge a personality contest held at the interschool festival Cascade 17. Cascade 17 is an interschool festival hosted by the School Alumni Association and includes over 19 schools and 1950 participants across the city. Salman Khan was present to judge a personality contest and to interact with the kids there after.
Talking about confidence Salman told the kids about each of them having a “Veer” within and encouraged them to come on stage. Cheering on the students Salman said “Veer is something we all have in us. Be it singing, dancing or even talking. The Veer in you will give you the confidence to come up on stage and perform”
Salman Khan was seen distributing autographed cd’s of his forthcoming film Veer among the participants and winners of the contest. Post the contest, reminiscing about his own school days Salman Khan took time out of his schedule to interact with the kids and even broke out into an impromptu jig on stage.
Eros International and Vijay Galani’s Veer –Bollywood’s biggest epic film till date starring Salman Khan is set to release January 22nd 2010.
