The first set was extended to tie-breaker before Raveena won at 7-6(7). The American player went on to claim the second set at 6-4 and moved into semi-final.
Raveena is now pitted against eighth seeded Chinese Zhanlan Wei who accounted for fourth seeded Tamachan Momkoonthod of Thailand by 7-6(2) 6-2.
The second semi-final will be an all-Indian affair as Karman Kaur Thandi defeated seventh seeded Vasanti Shinde in straight sets 6-4 6-3 and Ojasvinee Singh
upset fifth seed Russian Anna Ureke by 6-2, 7-5.
Mandresy Raktomalala ended the winning spree of giant killer Paramveer Singh Bajwa of India in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 in the boys singles quarter-final match.
Third seeded Indian Garvit Batra made his exit as he fell to seventh seeded Frenchman Geoffrey Blancaneaux by 3-6, 3-6.
Fourth seeded Clement Larriere of France and fifth seeded Sameer Kaur of USA also moved into the boys singles semi-finals.
Clement Larriere beat Tung-lin Wu (TPE) 6-4, 6-3 and Sameer defeated Alex Solanki (IND) 6-1 6-1.
