CHANDIGARH, OCT 9 : N Vijay Sundar Prashanth of India, pairing with David Pel of Netherlands caused a big upset as they shocked top seeded pair of George Coupland of Great Britain and Marcus Daniel of New Zealand in the doubles quarter-final match of the $ 10,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament at Sunderland Tennis Centre (Britain) today. Prashanth and Del recorded a hard-fought 7-5, 7-6 (6) verdict.
In semi-final, they will now fourth seeded Britons Stefan Sterland-Markovic and Darren Walsh who ousted Robert Carter and Adam Thornton-Brown of Great Britain 6-4, 6-4 in another quarter-final match.
