5 Sep :The International Women’s Health Coalition (IWHC) is pleased to share three new perspectives from women’s health and rights activists who attended the XVII International AIDS Conference earlier this month (August 3-8) in Mexico City, Mexico.
Three new blogs, “Universal Action: Now or in Vienna?” by Daniel Townsend, “Sexuality Education in India: It’s Not Comprehensive!” by Neha Sood, and “Choosing to Matter” by Hana Kaijimura have been added to IWHC’s collection of reports from the conference
World YWCA Seeks Nominations for Program Committee Co-Chairs of the Community, Leadership, and Scientific Program Committees for the 2010 International AIDS Conference in Vienna The World YWCA seeks nominations for Program Committee Co-chairs of the Community, Leadership, and Scientific Committees for the 2010 International AIDS Conference in Vienna, which are responsible for building the program for the conference. Each Program Committee Co-chair leads a group of approximately 13 members who plan and execute the Community, Leadership or Scientific Programme at the conference. There will be two Co-chairs for the Community Programme Committee and Leadership Programme Committee, and three for the Scientific Programme Committee.
World YWCA encourages nominations of women including those living with HIV/AIDS, people of faith, and young people. After receiving nominations, the World YWCA will recommend three international Co-chairs for the Community, Leadership, and Scientific Program Committees.
