CHANDIGARH, JULY 27 : India today won one silver and one bronze medal bringing their tally to 4 silver and three bronze in the 2013 Asian Cadet Freestyle and Greco-Roman and Female Wrestling Championship at Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Complex at Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia. Both medals for India on the penultimate day were earned by women wrestlers.
Babita Rani went down fighting to Japanese opponent Takahashi Misuzu in the 65 kg category final. In the first round, Babita conceded only one point to her opponent. The Japanese wrestler, however, had an upper hand in the second round which she won by 4-0 for a 5-0 verdict.
Pooja Tomar got bronze medal by beating Li Hsuan Wu of Taipei by 7-0 in repech in 50 kg class.
Indian women finished third in the team championship by securing 68 points. Japan won the team trophy with 89 points while Kazakhstan were runners-up with 83 points.
Jatin (42 kg), Rinku (46 kg) and Prakash (50 kg) finished fifth in their respective categories in the men’s freestyle competitions.

65 kg: 1 Takahashi Misuzu (Japan), 2 Rani Babita (Ind), 3 Turmagnbet Aziza (Kazakhstan) and
Narbaeva Khalbazar (Uzbekistan).
