Defending champions Surat got a big jolt to their campaign as unsung Ballia raced to a six-wicket verdict with two balls to spare in the T-10 Gully Cricket ‘Ab Har Koi Khelega’ Season-2 at the floodlit Jan Nayak Chaudhary Devi Lal National Cricket Floodlit Stadium here tonight.
Ballia registered their first win from two outings they have played so far. It was Surat’s first match in the second edition of the tournament.
Chasing the victory target of 103 in allotted 10 overs, Ballia made it with two balls to spare. Anuppam Singh struck a powerful six of the fourth ball of the 10th over bowled by Ketan Ahir. Anupam remained not out on 24 of 12 balls and contained one four and two sixes. He was associated in a 52-run partnership with Zubair Hussain (22, 3x4s) for the fourth wicket as Ballia replied with 107 for 4.
Earlier, holders Surat batted first and scored 102 for 3 in 10 overs. Opener Nilesh Pal (30) and Kalpesh Patel (37, 19 balls, 4x4s, 2x6s) were associated in a 41 runs partnership for the second wicket. Ketan Ahir remained not out on 18.
Intezar Hussain got 2 for 22.

Jalandhar recorded a facile seven-wicket triumph against Daman in the spare in the T-10 Gully Cricket ‘Ab Har Koi Khelega’ Season-2 at the floodlit Jan Nayak Chaudhary Devi Lal National Cricket Floodlit Stadium here tonight. It was their second successive triumph.Required to score 81, Jalandhar made it in 9.4 overs and seven wickets in hand. Mohinder Singh Kelia remained not out on28. Amarjit Singh made 16.Earlier, Daman were bowled out for 80 in 99.5 overs . Parvesh Bamania topscored with 22 and Anklesh Prajapati contributed 16 runs. Ankush Handa (3 foir 9), Sachin Sharma (3 for 13) and Rahul Srivastav (2 for 12) wrecked Daman’s innings
