CHANDIGARH, FEB 15 :Shobat Ghai hit a longest shot on 14th Fairway and SS Mann missed a hole in one and landed the ball 1’8" on the 17th hole on the final day of the 4th Budget Signs North Zone Civil Services Golf Championship at Panchkula Golf Club on Sunday.
Harinder Pal Singh Bedi, with a gross two day total of 153 emerged winner in the serving officers’ catergory. RK Arora aggregated 157 for the runner-up position. In the nett section, Narinder Chauhan claimed the title with 129 while ID Bhandari was runner-up with 133.
Mann Singh won the gross winner’s title with 164 and RS Chalia was runner-up with 176.
Based on the gross score day one and day two, a 12-member team including two reserves was announced to participate in the All India Civil Services Golf Championship at Qutab Golf Course New Delhi on March 7 and 8, according to CSR Reddy,IG Patiala Zone and President North Zone Civil Services Golf Society.

Jagmohan Singh from Budget Signs was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the participants. JS Cheema General Secretary CGA honoured the winner of day one and day two. CSR Reddy thanked all the sponsors for their contribution towards the game of golf and presented them a mementos of appreciation.
