Chandigarh : Anyone living with a history of cancer, from the moment of diagnosis through the remainder of life, is a cancer victor. Many Indians are now living with and beyond a diagnosis of cancer. A large number of men and women are expected to be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. Learning about this disease is crucial, because many forms of cancer can be prevented and most of them cured if detected early.
Sahayta Cancer Sahyog calls upon all cancer survivors and other aware and compassionate citizens of Tri City to join us in Celebration of CANCER SURVIVORS DAY on 11th February at 3.50 p.m. in the auditorium of St Stephen’s School, Sec 45 B, Chandigarh. Mr. Pushvinderjit Singh, M.D. Tynor Orthotics Ltd., Mohali will preside over the function. The theme of the evening is ‘Celebration of Life’ and there will be dance by little angels from APC and a play “Badalte Rishte” enacted by our survivors turned thrivers under the able guidance of Madhu Nathani, writer, director from Delhi highlighting the emotional ramifications of cancer. Jeevan Shakti awards will be presented to survivors who have faced the desease bravely and are leading a meaningful life.
