Bhopal : A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today accorded sanction to open AYUSH dispensaries in 148 villages where no government health service is available in 5 kilometer radius. The decision was taken to implement Jan-Sankalp 2008 and make medical facilities available in rural areas.
The cabinet sanctioned construction of three roads. Sabalgarh-Karoli Road will be built under BOT through Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation. Construction of this 12.90 kilometer long road will cost Rs. 81 crore 51 lakh. Toll collection right will be granted to the private investor. Besides, payment of six-month annuity will also be made. This is a unique scheme in the country. Project’s concession period will be 15 years.
The cabinet accorded sanction to 66.70 kilometer long Balaghat-Baihar Road under BOT mode. The road costing Rs. 165 crore 11 lakh will be constructed through Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation.
The cabinet gave administrative sanction of Rs. 97 crore 77 lakh for construction of 46.98 kilometer long Garra-Varaseoni Road (Upto Maharashtra border) under Toll+Annuity Scheme.
Filling up of posts
Giving exemption from ban, the cabinet gave permission to fill up 72 direct recruitment posts of technical nature which are vacant for the last five years in Government Music College and four Fine Arts Institutions (Colleges) being run by the Culture Department. It gave permission to create and fill up 10 posts to start Music and Arts College, Khandwa under the Culture Department.
Sanction was granted to fill up 12 direct recruitment posts of assistant engineer (Electrical engineering) and two posts of assistant architect in the Public Works Department through Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission.
Other decisions
The cabinet decided to make available Rs. 36 crore in the share capital of Madhya Pradesh Backward Classes and Minorities Finance and Development Corporation for lump sum payment of overdue amounts of national corporations and constitute a committee through administration department to enquire into reasons and fix responsibility for failure in recovery.
The cabinet decided to deduct 10 percent pension of Shri M.J. Chawla for two years. Shri Chawla was found guilty of irregularities during his posting as executive engineer in the Public Works Department, Damoh.
The cabinet decided to deduct 10 percent amount for one year from pension payable to the then administrative officer in the Directorate of Health Services Shri M.M. Mathur.
Decision was taken to institute departmental enquiry against three retired officers responsible for irregularities in recruitment in Government Autonomous Unani Medical College in year 2009.
The cabinet decided to cancel its order dated January 31, 2012 regarding filling up posts of Deputy Director Ayurved/Divisional Ayurved Officer in the AYUSH Department through direct recruitment.
