The India Post, Chandigarh, 20th February, 2009:The Centre for Vivekananda Studies is organizing a workshop on ‘Ayurveda Lifestyle for the Prevention and Healing of Ailments’ on 23 Feb 2009, at Golden Jubilee Seminar Hall, Panjab University. The workshop will be held by noted Ayurveda researcher Dr Vinod Verma, who is associated with the Ayurvedic Health Organisation, Noida. She has to her credit a number of books on the subject, and has conducted dozens of workshops and seminars to promote Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is not an exclusively medical discipline as many people think. It is a complete science of health and healing. In this workshop, Dr Verma will focus on the practical side of how to lead a good and healthy life through Ayurveda. She will show simple solutions to complicated ailments.
Dr Verma gave a lecture last month at the Golden Jubilee Hall. There was such a popular demand from another lecture by the students and the public alike. This workshop is a result of that enthusiasm.
