Chandigarh, Mar 18, 2009 : The star cast of upcoming Punjabi movie Tera Mera Ki Rishta, Jimmy Sheirgill and Kulraj Randhawa of ‘Karina-Karina’ fame, along with the director Navniat Singh and assistant producer Mandeep, visited several local colleges and university. They talked about their new movie and interacted with the students community.
First the stars went to the MCM DAV College, sector 36, where principal Dr Punit Bedi welcomed the guests with flowers. Promo of the film was shown in the multi-media hall of the college, which was budging with students. Both Jimmy and Kulraj addressed the students and sought their blessings for the success of the movie. Kulraj also blessed the students for their exams.
The road show proceeded to DAV College, sector 10 and DAV School-15. Music CDs, autographed by the duo stars, were distributed among the students.
The team was enthusiastically received by the students at the Students’ Centre of Punjab University. Kulraj and Jimmy had lunch in open at the Stucee. The place was full of youth, who were pushing each other to get a glimpse of the stars and get their pics clicked.
The road show will now move to Patiala, Jalandhar and Amritsar. The film is scheduled to be released worldwide on April 10, 2009. However, it’s music has been launched a day ago. The film is said to be influenced by the all time hit, Dil Wale Dulhania Le Jayenge. It is also claimed to be the biggest Punjabi movie ever made. It is an Eros International production, their second offering in Punjabi after Hashar of Babbu Mann.
