Bhopal has prepared the ground for hosting 38th National Junior swimming competition. The team of Madhya Pradesh has also been declared for the competition being organized between August 5 and August 9. So far, teams of six states have arrived in Bhopal.
The competition is being organised jointly by the Madhya Pradesh Swimming Federation and Sports and Youth Welfare Department at Prakash Taran Pushkar in Bhopal. As many as 800 swimmers of 26 States are taking part in the competition. A total of 80 competitions for the swimmers between the two age groups of 13-14 years and 15-17 years will be held. Besides, the national level players are also participating in it.Teams of States taking part include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Manipur, N.S.A., Orissa, Pondicherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and finally team of hosting State.
Madhya Pradesh Swimming Federation has declared its team for the competition. This 45 member team includes Khyati Agrawal, Shubhanshu Setia, Ravi Shankar Kewat, Shiwank Tyagi, Rohit Imolia, Pushpendra Paul, Aman Soni, Hritvik Upadhyay, Rohitash Dubey, Himanshu Dhakad, Rohit Kumar, Yashovardhan Singh, Abhishar Sharma, Amit Vikram Batham, Subham Upadhyay, Ayush Bansal, Somil Singh Panwar, Ishan Shukla, Bharat Mishra, Anshul Premchandani, Sudhir Batham, Chandan Keer, Kushgra Upadhayay, Lakshyajeet Singh Rathore, Yash Arya, Nadim Khan, Sawant Shinde, Mohit Imolia, Swapnil Chourasia, Akash Lodhi, Atindra Patel, Tripti Tyagi, Aditi Dage, Shreya Mishra, Priyal Awasthi, Shrila Singh, Ankusha Wadhwani, Ayushi Singh Sengar, Gahna Modi, Shraddhali Tyagi, Niharika Batra, Anansa Divya Upadhyay, Asmit Goyal, Niharika Prasad and Siddharat Rajput.
