FORT WAYNE, JUNE 1 : Warsaw Warriors scored an impressive six-wicket victory against Fort Wayne Warriors in the eight-a-side women’s final in theFort Wayne Cricket Cup played at Kreager Park here. In the 2014 edition of the annual tennis ball tournament, the organisers introduced the women’s championship which drew appreciation from all quarters.

Batting first after winning the toss done by Jatin Patel, a graduate of Cricket Australia’s Level 2 Coach training program, scored 48 in stipulated eight overs. Warsaw Warriors achieved the target and surpassed their rivals total in six overs.
Meawhile, Jatin Patel gave the girl cricketers fine tips of the game and he was happy to see girls taking to this fascinating game of cricket. As the girls were enthusiastic about the game, Jatin Patel was confident that more and more girls will start playing cricket.
