Bhopal:Thursday, July 10:Selection of players for the year 2008-09 would be undertaken on July 14 and 15 in the premises of tribal boys sports complex Tamia, district Chhindwara. As many as one hundred players are to be selected. Regional as well as national level players are groomed here after imparting them quality training. During the last five years, pre-recruitment coaching for Indian armed forces has also been imparted at sports complex which has met with great success at the state level. This year, a target has been set to get 20 youths recruited to Indian Air Force.
Ninety percent scheduled tribes and 10 percent scheduled castes students are given admission in the sports complex Tamia. A student must be domicile of Madhya Pradesh and must have passed examination with 60 per cent marks. As on December 31, 2008 the age of class VI, VII, VIII and IX students must not exceed 12, 13, 14 and 15 years, respectively.
A candidate would have to bring with him original mark sheets and caste certificate and would have to submit their photo copies. The applicant must have passed educational exam and physical fitness test with 60 percent marks.
