Udhampur : The District Secretary Udhampur Kabaddi Association Mr. Ashok Sharma appreciated the efforts of the President Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Mr. Anil Gupta who has initiated to honoured the International Dignitaries of Kabaddi Game of our state who have represented in the International Competitions in the capacity of Technical Official with Indian Kabaddi teams with Maha Raja Jambu Lochan Sports Award for their excellence in Kabaddi Game as Technical Official. The Jambu Lochan Sports Award to recognize outstanding achievements in the field of “Swadeshi Game – Kabaddi”. This award carries Rs. 21000/- cash, a Memento, a Certificate and Blazer to them who has represented the country in Kabaddi Game from our state.
Er. R.S. Chib Hon’ble Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports & Medical Education J&K Govt. was the Chief Guest along-with Sh. J.P. Singh Director Youth Service & Sports Deptt. J&K & Sh. Anil Gupta (Anu) President J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association awarded the Maharaja Jambu Lochan Sports Award to. Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta represented as Technical Official in 14th Asian Games held at Busan, Korea – 2002 and 16th Asian Games held at Guangzhou, China – 2010., Mr. Bhupinder Singh Tirthi, represented as Chief Coach with Indian Kabaddi Team which won gold medial in 9th SAF Games, Islamabad, Pakistan 2002. & Mr. Dinesh Gupta, represented as Technical Official in 13th Asian Games Bangkok – 1998.
On the occasion Er. R.S. Chib Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports & Medical Education J&K Govt. louded the role of President & General Secretary of JKAKA and also congratulated the award winners and hope that such awards should be regular feature to the person who will represent J&K Stat at International Level.
