CHANDIGARH, AUG 1 : Second seed Drona Walia of Uttrakhand stormed into the final of the All India Tennis Associations Talent Series Tennis Tournament at Jagadhri Club courts in Jagadhri here today. Drona Walia got some resistance from Karan Singh Bhalla of Chandigarh.
The first set went into the tie-break in which Drona played some good tennis which resulted 7-0 in the first set decider tie-break in 45 minutes. In second set Drona dominated Karan Singh from the very first game and won second set in less than 25 minutes.
Qualifier Neeraj Yashpaul continued his dream run to reach his maiden AITA finals. He won his match in straight sets from local lad also qualifier Udit Kamboj 6-2,7-5.
In girls semi finals both top seeds has easy going as both the semi finals went straight sets. Komaljeet Kaur didn’t sweat much in her match which lasted for 35 minutes only. Itika Sharma won her rain interrupted match with little resistance from fourth seed Nandini from Chandigarh.

Girls u-14 (s-finals): Komaljeet Kaur (1)(chd) bt Kanishka Sharma(3)(Raj) 6-1,6-0. Itika Sharma(2)(Raj) leading Nandini(4) (chd) 6-1, 6-2.
Boys Doubles u-14 (s-finals): Jagtar Arora (Har) & Neeraj Yashpaul(chd) bt Mayank Arya (Dli) & Naman Searawat (Dli) 4-5(7),4-1,5-4(5), Drona Walia(Utk) & Abhimanyu Rozra(Har) bt Sawan Mali(Har) 7 Sam Chawla(Har) 4-1,4-2.
