FEROZEPUR, NOVEMBER 12: Continuing its winning streak, the Indian Women Kabaddi team today entered into the Final of First Edition of Women World Kabaddi Cup while the Canadian team today booked the berth of semifinal by beating Nepal with an impressive margin.
The Australian Kabaddi team today suspended from the tournament by Technical Committee of the Tournament as the five players of the team was found positive in dope test while three players remained absent. The committee suspended the team as it failed to complete the minimum eight members’ quorum. Due to suspension of Australian team the full point of the match was given to the rival Afghanistan team.
In the 2nd match played between Indian and England women team, the Indian players did not give any chance to its rival to get points. Registering its second consecutive victory, the Indian women team scored 51 while the England team got only 8 points.
In Pool A match played between Canada and Nepal, Canada registered its consecutive fourth victory by beating its rival 64-22d. With this victory Canada entered into Semifinal of the tournament. In the last match England crushed Germany with a margin of 65-19.
