The distance of the races was reduced since the 2000 metres rowing channel was not available for the rowing events due to the weeds and inadequate water level. All events were conducted on1800 metres rowing course.
Meanwhile, Chandigarh Rowers and officials observed one minute silence to pay respect and tribute to the departed soul of Late Shri Kailash Nath Ji who was the founder member of water sports in Chandigarh.
