CHANDIGARH, MARCH 20 : The stage is all set for the ‘Bharat Kesri Dangal’ being hosted by the Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department in Gurgaon on March 21 to 23. The freestyle competitions are being organised to commemorate the martyrdom day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. The meet has attracted as many 78 top wrestlers from different states and Union Territories. First time in the history of Haryana, lucrative cash prizes will be awarded to the winners and others position holders.
Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anil Vij disclosed that 44 wrestlers from Haryana, seven from Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB), eight from Services Sports Control Board (SSCB), nine from AIssociation of Indian Universities, four from Delhi, three from Punjab, one each from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh would participate in the competition. During this competition, 46 matches would be organized for first and second round, 16 for third round, 20 for fourth round and league match and 8 for semi-final and final match.
The Sports Minister said that the 78 participants would include Satyawarat Kadian, Mausham Khatrai, Hitender, Jogender Kumar, Krishan, Hitesh, Gursahib Singh, Gurpal Singh Dhillo, Somveer, Pawan Kumar, Roublejit Singh Rangi, Deepak, Mandeep, Pritam, Parveen, Surjeet, Youdhvir, Sumit, Hardeep, Yogesh, Sonu, Satish Kumar, Sombir, Tejveer, Amit, Ankit, Arun Kumar, Ajit, Amit Kumar, Ajay Kumar, Anup, Dharmender, Dushyant Kumar, Devwarat Chaudhary, Jasbir, Jitender Kumar, Kapil, Karamjeet, Karamjeet Nain, Kuldeep, Manish, Mandeep, Manjeet of Jhajjar, Manjeet of Sonepat, Nasir Hussain, Partik, Pardeep, Pawan Dhaiya, Pardeep, Parmod, Paramveer, Parvinder, Parveen Dagar, Rahul Rathi, Ramdiya, Rajesh Kumar, Rahul, Sagar, Sachin, Sandeep, Virender, Amarjit, Ajay Kumar, Ashutosh Rai, Dinesh Kumar, Deepak, Inderjeet, Mahesh, Manjeet of Rohtak, Mandeep Gulia, Mukesh Kumar, Naresh Kumar, Parveen of Rohtak, Ranbir, Sonu, Sunil, Sombir Singh and Vivek Suhag.
