YooShopper is the new retail venture of Steelbird Group having diversified business interest in Auto Accessories, MotoSports and Entertainment.
An idea conceived by two young software engineer Varun & Sunil was shaped up by Steelbird, Managing Director Mr Rajeev Kapur who went an extra mile to build one-of-its-kind online shopping portal and mobile app that exclusively caters to shoppers and local retailers across Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali and Zirakpur. After witnessing the sudden surge in online retailing across small cities due to the growing internet connectivity and smartphones penetration in every corner of the tricity, YooShopper was created to connect local and trusted grocers to register and sell their products online to customers across neighbouring cities.

As per market reports, the food and grocery retail in India exceeds US$ 294 billion representing 16% of India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). As of now, both E-commerce and M-commerce market has taken India by a storm and has shown positive prospects to grow exponentially as Indian Government, private organizations and investors are capitalizing on its popularity. A report by consultancy firm PwC confirmed that E-commerce firms are expected to spend up to USD 1.9 billion by 2017-2020 on infrastructure, logistics and warehousing.
