The Asian Business Leadership Forum felicitated Ms. Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman & CEO of India’s second and world’s third largest tractor maker TAFE, with the prestigious ABLF Woman of Power Award for her outstanding contribution to the industry.
The annual ABLF Woman of Power achiever’s award recognizes corporate women who are committed to excellence and innovation, and maintain healthy interpersonal relationships within her business environment. Above all, the winner must be an achiever who cherishes family and community values, and achieves a balance between work and home, and is held as a role model for women achievers around the world. The ABLF Awards celebrates the women of Asia who command respect and admiration globally for their effective role in the new Asian business space.
Ms. Srinivasan received the award at a glittering function at Abu Dhabi, UAE, last night.
Acknowledging the award Ms. Srinivasan said, “I am deeply privileged to receive the ABLF Woman of Power Award for the year 2012. The Award recognizes and encourages the rapidly growing role of women in Asia’s economic development. Women bring to the corporate world unique perspectives and competencies, and represent a valuable talent pool that adds richness and diversity while at an individual level, they may continue to face challenges in the varied socio-political environment that dots Asia.”

She appreciated the catalytic role being played by ABLF in encouraging corporates to invest in human capital and in inspiring women to actively participate in the economic development process.
Ms. Srinivasan pointed out that TAFE strives to transform the livelihoods of farmers, particularly in the developing world through offering innovative relevant technology that enhances productivity and farm incomes. For over five decades, Team TAFE has worked closely with the farming community in India and 77 countries across the world.
As TAFE expands its global footprint, the company is committed to developing and propagating eco friendly technologies that will ensure for farmers, a profitable tomorrow, she added.
