Champions Tennis League today announced that Indian tennis pro,World No. 29 (Doubles) Leander Paes would now be completing team Punjab Marshalls in CTL 2014.Among the most successful professional Indian tennis players and former captain of the Indian DavisCup team, Leander is the recipient of India’s highest sporting honour, the Rajiv Gandhi KhelRatna award, in 1996–1997; the Arjuna Award in 1990; and the Padma Shri award in 2001 for hisoutstanding contribution to tennis in India.
Commenting on this development, Vijay Amritraj said “I am truly delighted that our own Leader Paeswill replace David Ferrer in CTL 2014 making a very strong Indian presence in the Punjab Marshallsteam.
