New Delhi: The UKIERI Research Cooperation programme is designed to facilitate a step-change in research and education cooperation between the UK and India that will be associated with high quality, innovative research and academic excellence. Each project for funding should involve a mix of activities and must include two lead teams: one based in the UK and the other based in India. The collaboration should involve staff and researcher exchanges between the UK and India, including for research students. The programme is open to all universities and research centres and teams in the UK and India. A key objective of the UKIERI project is to engage with networks of researchers. Thus, in addition to the two lead teams of collaborators (termed the ‘Hubs’), other research teams (the ‘Satellites’), including those from business and industry, are encouraged to become directly involved.Full details of the programme can be obtained from below link:
