We appeal to voters of Adampur and Ratia Assembly Constituencies to start a new ‘Chapter of Politics’ by ensuring overwhelming victory of Congress candidates. Conspiratorial political forces are unable to digest the picture of ‘emerging Haryana’. Lok Dal as also HJC-BJP alliance want to push the State in an age of darkness by creating a caste and regional divide. These walls of hatred will demolish the progressive society and strong economy of a pioneering State like Haryana. Need of the hour is that two and half crore Haryanvis wipe out these divisive elements by complete reposition of faith in the Congress policy of social harmony and carrying all sections of the society together.
‘Politics for Development’ is the key to take the youth and all areas forward in the 21st Century. Lok Dal as also BJP-HJC alliance are family run regional enterprises. Their thought process and ideology is restricted to carrying forward the legacy of their families and protecting their personal interest. Such parochial political parties can neither conceive forward looking visionary policies for the State nor can take the State to the front line of progressive politics.
Since taking of reins of power in 2005 i.e. in last seven years, Congress has given a new path, a new direction and a new energy to political, social and economic apparatus of the State. With UPA Chairperson, Smt. Sonia Gandhi’s blessings and under the leadership of Chief Minister – Shri Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Haryana stands at number one in the country in per capita income, in milk production and in per capita wheat productivity. Haryana is also number one in India in per capita investment. Haryana is home to many pioneering social welfare policies such as ‘Land Acquisition Policy’, ‘Scheduled Caste Students Scholarship Scheme’, ‘Indira Gandhi Drinking Water Scheme’, ‘Ladli Scheme’, ‘Indira Gandhi Vivah Sagun Yojna’ etc. that have become an example to emulate in rest of India. Haryana has also leaped ahead in infrastructural development by setting up five new power generation plants, one dozen universities, three medical colleges, hundreds of engineering colleges, polytechnics, ‘Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway’, ‘North-South Corridor Project’, multiple National Highway projects, Industrial Model Township in Rohtak, Faridabad, Rai, Ambala, Bawal, Manesar, Jhajjar etc. These are examples of growing economic influence of State of Haryana in India’s growth story.
As against this, Lok Dal led by Shri Om Parkash Chautala is symbolical of politics of loot, domination by organized criminal gangs, exploitation of dalits and traders as also centralization of political/administrative power within the family. Even HJC-BJP alliance is stillborn both on the yardsticks of politics and ideology.
Overwhelming support extended to Congress candidates by people of Adampur and Ratia evidences the fact that people shall rise above the politics of development and regionalism and vote for Congress for Development.”
