Prarambh an NGO has started 3 weeks summer worshop for underprivileged children, which will not only keep these children busy during summer break but also give them an opportunity to explore their talent.
All convent schools of the town has developed the concept of summer workshop to keep children occupied & develop their extra curiccular activities. Prarambh who is formed to work on the same cause has opted to pick up the opportunity. Over 120 children from SIKHYA- sec- 46 a school for children of economically weaker section, are being trained for Dance, Music- Vocal, Martial Arts & ART & CRAFT. Mid day meal is also arranged for these children during the workshop. After 3 weeks of classes, organisation is planning to have closing ceremony on 18th June by presenting the performance of these children in some auditorium. Along with a delight which would spread among the parents of these children, there shall be an exhibition cum sales of various craft items designed by these children. Prarambh trust that this shall discourage begging as these children would have confidence that when they can earn money , than why begging.
