By Tapashi : Neev is a voluntary social welfare organization and is working for the last eight years with the underprivileged children. Recently Neev staged a cultural program paying tribute to Kabiguru. The program titled “Geetanjali”. Two veteran artists Smt Sumitra Sen and Sri Pradip Ghosh were honored in the program and inaugurated the program as well. Neev sponsored the education and nutrition of thirty needy children and they staged kabipronam. They were beautifully dressed in the different characters taken from nature like flower peacock, tree, monkey, bear, elephant, fairy etc.As if the whole universe is paying tribute to kabiguru. A group of young promising talents perform “Rage o Rabindrasangeete” which is a combination or a fusion of Rabindrasangeet and the Raga based on that song. Few notable artists like Soumitra Chattopadhyay read “Poila nobor” famous short story from “Galpoguchho” and Srabani sen and Mohan Singh seperately presented the uncommon and the best songs of kabiguru.
