Since year 2000, Yuvsatta-an NGO is promoting international exchange programmes as a key tool for building “bridges of understanding & dialogue”—because we fairly believe that global connectivity is important to peace and stability of the human race.
And to inspire global youth for volunteering, nonviolence, conservation of environment and ensuring rights & dignity of girls Yuvsatta-an NGO empowering youth for peace, had organized eight consecutive International Youth Peace Fests, reaching out to young people of almost all continents and over 50 countries around the world…
We’re also regularly organizing a number of meaningful and soul satisfying educational cum cultural exchange programmes, both nationally and internationally, taking students, teachers, journalists, social activists to different parts of India and also internationally to countries like UK, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Sri Lanka, Nepal, UAE, Bhutan, Bangladesh etc. And when ordinary people of any age travel outside their comfort zones, their “us vs. them” mentality will likely change into a multicultural respect for others, resulting in a stronger worldwide coalition of friendship, understanding and goodwill.
Now, with aforesaid in view and to realize the Indian ideals & ethos of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam- (whole world is one family)’, Yuvsatta volunteers are launching a new platform of ‘Chandigarh People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries’.
Organization of an annual International Youth Peace Fest and ‘Friends of SAARC Forum’ will also be an integral part of this new initiative….
