A spacious waiting room will also be built for the attendants of patients.

During the course of the meeting, it was decided that the data pertaining to the patients, their diseases, treatment and billing be stored in computers.
An amount of Rs 15.37 lakh for Women’s Hospital and Rs 20 lakh for Base Hospital have been sanctioned for various works over the next three months.
With Haldwani and its periphery being the most thickly populated areas, the resources at Base Hospital are always under constraint. Besides, there is a constant flow of patients from other hill districts. People from the rural areas, where health facilities are in a bad shape, prefer travelling all the way to Haldwani for their
treatment.
