Dr. Avnish jolly,22 June:Teachers in government primary schools found chewing pan masala or tobacco during school hours might lose their job.
Disciplinary action will be taken against those violating the order. In a stringent move to curb tobacco consumption in the northern Indian state, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to impose strict penalty on teachers chewing pan masala or tobacco during school hours.
The state government is also planning to ban use of pan masala or tobacco in school from the coming academic session
