Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair shared five Master of Arts programmes in Life Skills Education, Youth Empowerment, Local Governance, Career Counselling and Gender Studies are started for the capacity building of people working in social sector for comprehensive sustainable development. These two year programmes are designed in such a way to cater the needs of youth work professionals. The course on Life Skills Education has been launched to address the demand of trained personnels in Life skills to take up Life skill education in formal and non formal sector. Life Skill based education has become the base of education especially in schools. The demand for trained personnels in Life skill is increasing day by day and hence the courses on Life Skills have topical importance.
