Rajasthan government is going to initiate the recruitment process of 1,000 doctors from Monday as Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday reviewed the situation in the state even as the doctors strike entered the fifth consecutive day on Sunday.
Army, BSF, railway and private doctors have stepped in at various state government hospitals giving relief to the patients.
Nearly three thousand ayurveda doctors and nurses have also pressed into service.
Blaming vested interests of the strike, Gehlot has said that strikers have no genuine ground as their demands of pay hike and time bound promotions have already fulfilled by the government in July this year.
