Jaipur May 17:Rajasthan government has announced a package of 282 crore rupees for the upliftment of Gurjar community. The decision was taken based on the report of the Committee constituted for upliftment of Gurjar Community.
The committee headed by BJP MP Mr. Ramdas Aggarwal today said in Jaipur that the amount will be spent on development of basic infrastructure like roads, schools, health and educational institutions in the Dang area of Rajasthan with gurjar concentration. He said about 8 lakh persons would benefit from this package.
The Gurjar leader Col. Kirodi Singh Baisla and BSP leader, Prahlad Gunjal have rejected the package. They said their only demand is inclusion of Gurjar community in ST category.
