Punjab : Panditrao Dharennavar, assistant Professor, PG Govt College, Sector 46 has desided to teach Zafaranama to children of Johal Nangal Village where 17 people died after consuming home made alcohol. He will start his teaching from 6 am and it will continue till 6pm on sunday. He has desided to do this because even after months government has not distrubuted the fund to widows of the villag as promised them of 5 lakhs each. Panditrao says that he will teach students how to read Zafaranama and he will make children understand the meaning of zafaranama. He also says Gurudas Mann, famous singer of Punjab must visit the village and sing Ghar di sharab na howe, nasha mukt Punjab howe. he says words of Gurdas Mann will have great impact on society. Presently Gurdas mann is on Jogiya” tour in Austrlia and Panditrao wants Gurdas Mann to visit villages of Punjab and sing for Punjabi people in vaillages. Panditrao visited the Johal Nangal Village one month back and promised the people to come back and fight for their rights.
Panditrao is from karanataka but he has learnt Punjabi so well that he has written 8 books in Punjabi and he has translted Sri Jap Ji Saheb, Sri Sukhamni saheb, and Zafaranama into kannnada lanaguge of Karanataka.. He has also started Sri Jap Ji saheb study center in Indi of Bijapr district in Karanataka where more than 300 childenr are learning Sri Jap Ji Saheb.
