Pardeep Luthra , Batala March 28:-Poverty is not a hindrance to success means that one can achieve success no matter his or her economic background. It means that poor people can be successful, and that their poorness does not prevent them from being successful.
Manmohan Bhatti (29) , a resident of Balmiki Mohalla, Achli Gate here , has set an example of such egged who has successfully cleared the PCS (Judiciary) exam taken by the Punjab Public Service Commission.
Born in lower middle family , Manmohan Bhatti had faced a lot of economic problems but he continued to studies which resulted in to his success.
Earlier, he also sat in the same exam in 2007 and 2010 cleared the PSC (Judiciary) pre twice but could not cleared main exams and he did not loose his patience .
Talking to media persons, he said that his father Kishan Lal had been working as sanitation employee (Sweeper) in the Municipal Council Batala and having two sisters and a brother who were all elder one and his father was unable to spend on his studies after the plus two class, so he had to work as clerk with an advocate in local civil courts and he work with a cloth trader at Amritsar to complete his graduation private as he use to work for his studies.
After doing private graduation in 2003, he started LLB in Guru Nanak Dev University campus and completed the same in 2006, he added.
He also served as clerk in the State Bank of India for 5 month and left the job when the SBI authorities refused to grant his leave for preparation for PCS judiciary in 2007.
Then he also joined the LIC as an assistance but remain without pay as the LIC also refused to grant leave for his preparation but ultimately he managed to fulfill his aim .
He is very thankful to his teachers and parents who had extended him whole heartily support to accomplish such target
