Dhuri/ Sangrur : The ruling alliance of SAD BJP in Punjab has to pay unemployment allowance to the tune of Rs 35000/- approx. for every unemployed youth of the state. This was stated by Raja Amrinder Warring, MLA Gidderbaha and President Indian Youth Congress while campaigning at Dhuri today. Warring blamed the Punjab Government for the pitiable condition of the youth of the state, there is no employment, industry is moving out of Punjab how the government is claiming to have crores of investment in the state in the last seven years. He asked the chief minister of Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal to just tell a simple one achievement or project which the government has undertaken for the betterment of youth of Punjab. Drug addiction is on the rise under political police patronage, Has the government done anything on this issue which is largely affecting every household.
Campaigning in Dhuri Assembly segment for the S Simar Partap Singh official congress candidate, Warring also questioned the SAD on their stand on the amendments in land acquisition bill which is anti farmer. He asked the chief minister of Punjab to come clear on it and advised him not to befool the farmers of Punjab more now. He said the Modi Governments anti farmer land acquisition bill is just to benefit few corporate houses. The dismantling of FCI and shortage of urea are the key issues which are going to affect the farmers of Punjab adversely. He also demanded the compensation from the government for the crop damage due to inclement weather conditions recently.
Warring also lambasted on the government for using the pressure tactics on the entire cable network owners of the state, ruining their households and giving monopoly to one who is near dear to the ruling government. He demanded time bound CBI inquiry into the FASTWAY, and investigation into how many households have been ruined by them till now in Punjab.
Warring appealed to the voters of the constituency not to succumb to the pressure tactics of this government. He said the youth this area has always voted for change and this time also the congress party has given educated youth to represent them. Today the youth has to take charge and lead the constituency rather than someone who is already at the fag end of his political career.
