The Punjab Education department is fully geared up to conduct the first ever Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) on 3rd July for which 314 examination centres have been set up in all the 20 districts in the state.
The test is being conducted in two parts – for those who have to teach Class 1-5 students and for those to impart lessons to Class 6-8 students, a Punjab Education department spokesman said on Friday.
As many as 1,13,604 candidates will take the first test and 1,39,480 candidates will appear in the second test.
