CHANDIGARH, JUNE 16 : PRTC will soon start mini bus transportation service to the villages and small town adjacent to the city owing to the growing number of passengers to the villages.
Stating this Manjit Singh Narang, Managing Director of PRTC. said that transportation service will be fully operational by the September. He also informed that to upgrade its fleet of minibuses, PRTC has cut down its order of 250 new big buses to 225 and in return has purchased 50 mini buses. These buses will provide transportation services to the villages, which are situated in the radius of 15-25 Km from the major cities of Malwa region. The service will be rolled out very soon because the PRTC already have all the required permits. He said that he has already ordered District roadways general managers to identify the routes for mini buses.
