In a scathing attack on the Badals, he pointed out, they had grabbed everything and made billions of rupees. He asked Mr Badal to explain how he made so much money to build seven star luxury hotels in Gurgaon costing hundreds of crores of rupees. He said, still he was not feeling satisfied and had now grabbed the sand and gravel mining, the cable network, the liquor business and everything else.
He declared that it was a matter of three months more and each and every act of omission and commission would be accounted for. He announced that all the vendetta cases registered against the Congress workers will be cancelled and those who got these registered will be brought to the book.
The former Chief Minister announced that once Congress forms the government it will set up three cancer hospitals in the area. Besides, it will go to the root cause of the cancer which is mainly caused by the highly contaminated water because of the industrial pollution from Ludhiana and Jallandhar. He said, effluent treatment plants are set up in these cities so that water is treated before it goes into the river.
Capt Amarinder had a dig at the Badals for hosting the Kabbadi Cup and spending so extravagantly on it. He said, it would have been better if this money would have been given to the hospitals where poor could get the treatment.
