POLICE HYPOTHESIS | COMMON SENSE REBUTTALS | |
1 | One Ankur Azad was called up by Abhishek. There were exchange of 11 calls and 2 sms between the two.
| Who is Ankur Azad? Ankur is son of Ravi Azad, Azad Gas Agency, Haibowal.
His 2 maternal uncles work as Munshi, PS Sudhar & Suvidha Kender, PS Raikot respectively.
He was incompletely treated at dr. Banerjee’s de-addiction Centre from dec. 13 to Feb. 14. He was admitted there under a false name and identity of Rahul Jain. Dr. Banerjee identified him from his photo in Hosp records |
2 | Ankur procured drugs [Heroin] from nearby shop on credit worth 1500/- or 3000/-
| Ankur used to inject 2 gm of Heroin twice daily. Abhishek was free of drugs for last 6 months. Arlier he used to inject 2 gms of Heroin twice daily. Heoin worth 1500/- to 3000/- is NOT sufficient for overdose.
No peddler ordinarily supplies Heroin on credit. This is an addictive drug. Addicts can go to any extent to purchase it. |
3 | Ankur Azad stayed with Abhishek till 8 pm & then went back Home
| This is the version of Ankur Azad. Police has verified his mobile phone location which may not be same as his location. |
4 | One Kuldeep Bawa took Ankur from the car to back Home. Ankur asked Kuldeep to see Abhishek while going back home. Kuldeep didn’t come to see Abhishek. But he called Ankur that Abhishek is we.. Police did not check these call details.
| Not verified. Police did not take Kuldeep’s call details / tower location or personal verification.
The Honda accord car has central locking system with broken door-opening handle at conductor’s door. Thus the conductor door can be opened from outside only.
Who opened the Conductor Door and When? All other doors were locked from inside. |
5 | Abhishek & Ankur came from SBS Nagar & Haibowal respectively to college Road so that they can inject drugs to themselves. Many cars are parked on College Road so no one will notice them.
| Heroin is injected for “trans” state. It is consumed at secluded places where no one disturbs. It cannot be ordinarily consumed at College Road’s hassle-bassle or curious onlookers.
Heroin can be consumed at college road only at night after 11 pm. |
6 | Abhishek injected the major part of heroin that was procured by Ankur. He became serious while Ankur went home.
| Police is depending solely on Ankur Azad, a compulsive and glib liar [due to heroin addiction].
There was NO INJECTION MARK on Abhishek. |
7 | Police noticed and recorded multiple Injection Marks on Abhishek in 2535 report | Police did not mention whether the marks were fresh or old. They did not take photographs.
Post Mortem conducted by qualified doctors noticed NO INJECTION MARKS. Presence of blodd stained saliva in mouth and larynx is suspicious.
A Question : How much Heroin can be purchased in Rs. 3000/- that can be shared by two persons and even then needs multiple injections? |
8 | The sms drafted by Abhishek at 11-28 pm was made by Abhishek
| True. It was not a SOS call for help. If he was badly sick, he would have tried to unlock his door, come out and see the doctor across the road. |
9 | The call made at 5-03 am was made by Abhishek
| The Approximate time of death is around 12-00 midnight. According to Punjab Police, even a dead man can use a mobile. [Good advertisement for Blackberry.] |
11 | One Mr. Ramandeep Garg, who chatted with both Abhishek & Ankur was not involved since his mother Sulochana Garg is admitted in DMC
| Who was Ramandeep Garg? Ramandeep Garg is a Heroin addict. He stayed with Ankur Azad during the same time at Dr. Banerjee’s De-Addiction Hospital. He had relapse after his incomplete treatment. He met with severe overdose in Feb 14 at Haibowal area for which he was treated.
He was with Ankur on 22nd June Sunday after 1-30 pm. |
12 | One Karan bhalla, s/o Mr. OP Bhalla was a known friend of Abhishek. But he was not involved since his neighbors informed the police that he is free of drug-habits for last one month.
| Who is karan Bhalla? Son of an industrialist Mr. OP Bhalla, Karan owns many cars including BMW, Maruti Swift etc. He IS a Heroin addict. He lives very near to College Road. He was constantly in touch with Abhishek. He was also studying in Pune in same college as Abhishek.
Simple urine test for heroin is sufficient to confirm whether one is an addict. NO corroborative evidence is necessary.
Police has NOT done any medical examination or test so far.
|
13 | Police has conducted a thorough inquiry, sitting at 8 No. police Station, going through the Call details of Abhishek & Ankur Azad.
To go to the actual scene of crime, interrogating the potential witnesses and regular passer-by persons will take another 4 – 5 days.
| Police has conducted a VERY Detailed inquiry, sitting comfortably in AC offices, interpreting the call details to their advantage without corroborating the medical facts.
The DCP was given the names of eye-witnesses on my earlier visit. She said that she has many other works to do. So verification of eye-witnesses, interrogation of regular passer-by may take some more time. |
14 | CCTV footage cannot be procured as ALL CCTVs were out-of-order on that day.
15 | The FB & G-mail details of Abhishek could not be hacked by the police as Dr. Banerjee did not give them to the police.
| All 3 computers were offered to the police for hacking which they refused. They did not even inquire the friends of FB friend-list of Abhishek.
G-mail account could have been obtained by police very easily. |
Final Verdict by Punjab Police: Abhishek died a self-inflicted natural death.
| ||
Questions : Police did not preserve the scene of crime, i.e. the car for forensic evidence. They themselves drove the car for post mortem.
Police did not search and preserve Abhishek’s clothes for forensic and chemical examination
Police did not take elaborate photographs of the body & car interior
Why only 1 car-door was unlocked? Why was blood vomiting? What was the white stain on his shirt? | NO ANSWER
Is it some locally manufactured synthetic drug in which no potency test, safety test, standardization etc. has been done? |
