Mohali: Sanjay Pahwa: A very valuable Red Cross Training was conducted in Gian Jyoti Public School, Phase2, Mohali in which around 106 students of Class X participated.
Mrs. Parveen Mahajan ASTS Lecturer and Mr. Sukhwant Singh Assistant Lecturer from St. John Ambulance, Punjab State Centre gave the training to the students about how to give first aid in casualties like sprain, burning, poisoning, heart attack, fracture, nose bleeding and others. They actually made the students indulge in dummy practice about how to tie bandages and how to transport the patients to the hospital after they meet with some casualty. These students will be given certificates for being a part of this training.
The Principal Mrs. Ranjeet Bedi stressed on the need of conducting such trainings and workshops in the schools so that the students should be practically smart and should have sufficient knowledge to save the precious lives in case of need.
