The India Post, Jassowal, Ludhiana, 10th February, 2009 :World Class Harvest Tennis Academy will conduct the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament of Boys and Girls for Under-16 and Under 18 (Singles & Doubles), at Village: Jassowal (Kular), Tehsil: Jagraon, Distt.: Ludhiana (Pb), from February 14-20, 2009. This tournament is being conducted under the aegis of Punjab Lawn Tennis Association and All India Tennis Association.
Top ranked players from all over India will be participating in this National level tennis tournament in the Harvest Tennis Academy from 14th February to 20th February, 2009. Disclosing this here today General Manager, Lt Col JS Maan, Harvest Tennis Academy stated that the Main Draw for Boys and Girls will be of 32 players of which 20 would be direct entries, 4 wildcards and 8 qualifiers. The draw for doubles events would be of 16 with 14 direct entries and 2 wildcards. All Main Draw matches will be best of three sets. The qualifying round matches will be played on 14th and 15th February, 2009, while the main draw matches will be played from Monday, the 16th February, 2009.
Tournament Director, Mr Gurvarinder Sahota, who is also the Director of Coaching of the World Class Harvest Tennis Academy, informed that the players who wish to participate in this tournament, can get their names registered in the office of the Harvest Tennis Academy between 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on 13th February, in person and the players must carry their ITN Card for the entry.
