Chandigarh, May 5: The all-party meeting convened by the state Congress chief Mr Partap Singh Bajwa to discuss the strategy to intensify the agitation against deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab that has turned into mafia state has been postponed by a few days.
He said the new date would be announced as the Communist parties were busy with their May 6 programme on the same issue. Bajwa further said that there has been talks with BSP in which the state leadership will discuss the matter with senior leadership in Delhi and confirm back. PPP and SAD( Longowal) have already confirmed their participation in the all party meeting.
He said the molestation and murder of young dalit girl Arshdeep who was thrown out of moving Orbit bus by the goons was the culmination of the jungle raj prevailing in the state.
