23 Feb :1st MAHILA BATTALION , Applications are invited from female Local Naga Indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland to fill up the vacancies in the rank of Constable (GD) in the scale of pay Rs. 2750-703800-75-4400/- per month plus all other allowances as are admissible under Rules from time to time for the Battalion.
Any member of the Mahila Battalion is liable to serve in any part of the country. All District Headquarters are declared as Recruiting Centers and the Candidates are required to appear in the recruitment test at their own expenses. Test will be conducted on physical, written and oral. Minimum educational qualification prescribed for the post is Class-VIII passed from a recognized School of Board Examinations for all applicants.
Minimum physical standard prescribed is as under:-
i. Height – 5” (152 cms)
ii. Weight proportionate to height as per medical standard.
Minimum age limit prescribed is 18 years and maximum age is 25 years as on 01/3/09. Outdoor test will include endurance, obstacle and other physical tests. The intending candidates should submit their application in plain paper addressed to the Superintendent of Police of the respective Districts alongwith Rs. 50/— as exam fee. Personal particulars such as Name, Father’s Name, Age, Village, Present Address, Permanent Address, Educational qualification, Tribe, Nationality etc should be mentioned clearly. The application should be accompanied by attested copies of educational qualification certificate, birth certificate, Indigenous Inhabitant certificate, Employment Exchange Card along with 3 (three) passport size photographs taken recently. All documents should be attested by a Gazetted officer. Applications should reach the office of the District Superintendent of Police by 03/3/09.
Any application received after the last date of receipt will not be accepted. Incomplete application without necessary documents will be summarily rejected. The Board reserves the right to reject any applications without giving any specific reasons.
The date for recruitment test will be intimated by concerned District Superintendent of Police. The result of the recruitment test will be announced at the earliest. However, appointment orders for the successful candidates will be issued one month before they are to be sent for basic training, according to Addl. Director General of Police (Admn.), K. Kire, IPS.
