An Educational Exposure Tour of Nagaland by an official team from Arunachal Pradesh led by Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture and AH& DD, Setong Sena alongwith Parliamentary Secretary, H. Ngandam and host of officers from departments of Agriculture, Horticulture and AH & Dairy Development of Arunachal Pradesh Government which started from 19th July 2013 culminated today the 21st July with a breakfast hosted by the chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, at his official residence this morning. Minister for Planning, Coordination & Evaluation and Geology & Mining, T.R.Zeliang and Parliamentary Secretary for Rural Development, C.L.John, were also present on the occasion. During the breakfast meeting, the visiting Minister. Setong Sena, expressed his appreciation of the Mission Mode programs of the State and their desire to replicate them in Arunachal Pradesh. The Chief Minister of Nagaland assured the delegation of all future assistance and corporation from the Government of Nagaland.
Earlier on 19th July, the Team had been taken to Bamboo Resource Centre, NBHM ,Multi Utility Centre, Bio Resource Lab, Dimul and Agri Expo Centre at Dimapur. On 20th July, the Team on their way to Kohima were taken to Mithun Breeding Centre, ICAR, Jharnapani, Medziphema and Hydroger unit at Tsiepama.
In the afternoon the Team was taken to Mima Model Village to see the Bee keeping followed by Hydroger demonstration at Phesama. The Team from Arunachal had an interactive Session with Members of all the Missions of Nagaland at Hotel Japfu, Kohima on 2oth July evening. Later the Team had a meeting with their counterpart, The Parliamentary Secretary of Agriculture, Dr. Benjongliba, Parliamentary Secretary of Vety .& AH, Yitachu and Parliamentary Secretary, Horticulture. Neiba Kronu at a dinner hosted by Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Alemtemshi Jamir,.
The Delegation departed Kohima for their home State Arunachal Pradesh after visiting the War Cemetry at around 10.30 A.M.
